I really wanted to like these bowls. They were a great price and a good weight for a nice and sturdy mixing bowl. The lids fit nicely as well. However, the first time I stored food in one of the bowls overnight it formed rust spots that would not come off. I cleaned the next bowl (I ordered three sizes) right away and left it to dry in the dish drainer. It too formed rust spots. I have a cheap stainless steel bowl from a big box store that has never formed rust spots in three years so this poor quality is unacceptable.

They rust inside after only a small amount of use. Also, they leave gray marks all over your counter tops. This is disappointing in a stainless steel bowl. I've had mine for 3 months, and I plan on getting rid of them. When I look at the discoloration rubbing off on my counter tops, I wonder what toxic junk is being mixed into the food I stir in them. One good point...they have nice looking and well-fitting plastic lids.

I ordered the 3qt size but had to return the bowl because the lid did not fit airtight at all. The lid goes inside the bowl (as opposed to wrapping over the bowl like most lids do) and it was sitting loose inside, making the seal anything but airtight. The lid also wasn't holding well, so it would drop out when turning the bowl upside-down without content. The bowl itself looked good, so if you don't care for tight fitting lids, it may be a good choice.
