This is the most clever item when you have lots of berries in the frig. Just rinse, drain and put on cover. Keeps berries so fresh. No more sitting in water after draining.Very handy. I am thinking of getting two as we have both blueberries and raspberries in our garden right now.

I purchased 3 of these bowls in NY. Brought them to Fl. I hand wash or top rack of dw, never a heat cycle. I took my purple one out of the cupboard and found that the bottom had split wide open. I have no idea why. It is only 2 years old i believe. However, because i liked them so well for size and sealing, plus the colors, things happen, i replaced it with a new one. I really like the convience of being able to stack them in the frig, and because of colors i know what is in each one, as i have several. I also do a lot of sewing, so i use them in my sewing room for small sewing savables. If they should fall or tip, the tops do not pop off, such as putting pins in them, That is a safety feature for me.

I have had this bowl for over a year and find it works great for all types of fruit including melons. It's perfect for a family of four to serve fruit with dinner or for dessert. Lightweight and dishwasher safe. I bought mine at a store in Scottsdale called Sprouts. They have several colors. I show it to all my friends and they always ask where they can find it.
