First of all I do love these bowls and use them almost every day. Secondly because I use them so much I've noticed some problems. First problem is they are not microwaveable. Second problem the large bowl doesn't have a large enough handle for pouring or carrying. Last problem I've noticed is that these bowls stain. I use mine daily and all 3 bowls are stained from use. I've scrubbed the stains, soaked them, and dishwasher end them and they haven't gone anywhere. Those problems aside the bowls are light in weight, I love the slip proof ring around the bottom, and I'm buying a second set for a gift because they really are my favorite bowls I've ever had.

Purchased for the general uses in the kitchen, making cookies and such. They are good quality plastic bowls. They are big enough for cooking and mixing. I also use them as popcorn bowls when I'm doing my movie watching.They are not made for the Kitchenaid mixer- they are intended as mixing bowls. But they do match the KitchenAid mixer perfectly. They are a great color accent for any kitchen.High quality, dishwasher safe, and large enough for all of my needs.
