I'm a baker. I love making things from scratch. I own a number of bowls, and I always find myself using cereal bowls to microwave things: butter, chocolate, etc. Finally, I broke down and went searching for kitchen items to use in both the microwave and dishwasher. I chose this product.The color is gorgeous. If you like pink (like I do) you'll be satisfied with it. It's surprisingly heavy. The base is non-skid and feels almost like rubber, but I don't believe it is. I made pancake batter in it the other day, and the batter barely filled it half-way. It passed the dishwasher and microwave test like a dream.In all I was very pleased by this purchase.

I needed something to microwave my husband's oatmeal in the morning. This bowl is the perfect size, I can cook the oatmeal for 2min. without any overflow or constant pausing of the microwave. Cleanup is also a breeze and the bowl is sooo pretty! I love this bowl so much that I plan to purchase a set of Corelle dishes in the same pattern.
