I bought these despite the couple of bad reviews. I guess I'm a natural optimist. However, they turned out to be poor quality bowls. Like one of the other reviewers, my bowls were generally scratched up and showing rust marks right out of the box. It's a cheapo set. The sizes seem pretty good, and the overall design is good. But the quality isn't there. I bought the stainless steel because I was hoping I wouldn't have to replace them for quite a while. That's certainly not going to be the case with this set. I have a giant stainless bowl that was handed down from my husband's grandmother, and I guess I had high expectations for these. Oh well. Save your money. Get a different set.Update: I was really disappointed in these when I first got them,and I originally gave them only 2 stars. But I've had them for a little while now, and they're not so bad. They're still dinged, and they still have little rust marks. But, after many runs through the dishwasher, they haven't gotten any worse. And it was a very inexpensive set. I didn't completely rewrite my review because I was surprisingly disappointed in the bowls when they first came out of the box. But, as long as you know what you're getting into...they're not so horrible. They're comfortable to hold and easy to use with a hand mixer. You can pour from them OK. The design is fine.

after second use already pitting or discoloring... like the finish is coming off. would return but disposed of box so out of luck.

Smaller and lighter weight than I expected. I own a set of bowls that look just like this, but mine are much better quality. I would not recommend.
