The smallest of three nesting Sorrento mixing bowls, this one measures eight inches in diameter and holds up to 60 ounces, or roughly two quarts, ideal for whisking eggs for an omelet or serving a fresh fruit salad. All three mixing bowls feature a different exterior pattern. The rim band on this small bowl, which helps provides grip, is embossed with Sorrento's signature three-leaf design, while bands of lines and dots run up and down the sides. Signature Housewares Sorrento 60-Ounce Small Mixing Bowl, Ruby is a Good product. Pricey for what you get in stoneware. Heavy,freezer to oven to table stuff. Too bad you have to buy by piece rather than complete set.

I own 3 of this size of bowls, and I have to say the number one way we use them is for huge, individual salads. They are the perfect size to hold all your salad fixings and still be able to stir your dressing in without losing half your lettuce on the table. I own this in wheat, burgundy and oregano, and will gradually add to my set so I have enough to serve big salads when we have guests. The quality and beauty of these dishes are unsurpassed in my opinion. I have many pieces, and after more than 5 years of daily use, only have one piece that has chipped.(A cereal bowl) They have survived 2 teenagers, a somewhat carelessly clumsy husband, and at times even my own accidental clattering around. My only issue with this product is that Amazon is not offering it at a very good price. The 90 ounce is being sold for about half of what this smaller, 60 oz bowl is being offered. Watch the prices, don't overpay, and you will be very happy with your purchase!
