Stay in place base is awesome for adults, children and pets as well. Three sizes are nice to have. Comes in 8 or so color options. I plan to order nesting bowls in 3 additional colors. The low profile is great for storage.

I love these bowls. We have been using them as our primary bowls, over our nicer glasswear. So far, they still look great but I have only used them for a few weeks so I'm not sure how they will hold up in the long term. Either way, the price is okay, the bowls are good, and they save some space in the cupboard.

I purchased this set of bowls with the intention of using them for prep work and dining for myself. I have used these bowls for two months, all during hot and humid summer weather. Here is my assessment for now; I haven't cooked in or eaten anything hot out of these bowls yet. I will update this review later when I have.Pros:Nice selection of sizes.Extremely stable.Slick surface inside and out.Super easy clean up.Non-skid.Slow/minimal temperature transfer.Cons:I'm not really attracted to any of the colors they offer so I settled for white.The size selection is nice. I have used the small (12 oz.) bowl for serving dip, mixing spices or small amounts of ingredients in prep work for cooking, scrambling eggs and bringing a snack serving (nuts, pretzels, candy) to a lounging location. I have used the medium (28 oz.) bowl primarily for cold cereal and ice cream. The large (44 oz.) bowl has been used for salads (preparing, mixing, serving and eating - this bowl is PERFECT for a big, just-having-a-salad-for-dinner sized salad) and serving popcorn.In general, all the bowls have outstanding qualities. They are stable when mixing and eating, they have a slick surface and clean up easily by hand (I don't have a dishwasher), the thick cross section and the material the bowl is made with seems to combine to slow temperature transfer. Condensation is almost a food group here in July and August but one sweltering evening I noticed that, although it took me over half an hour to eat a serving of ice cream from the 28 oz. bowl, there was NO sweat on the bowl at all. In the same amount of time my iced tea glass had sweated a small lake.My other favorite quality so far is the wide, low profile and non-skid base that makes these bowls very stable. I'm a somewhat messy eater, especially in the morning when I'm not thoroughly alert. I have been known to tip over a cereal bowl more than once by accidentally thumping the rim when putting the spoon down. I have hit the rim of the 28 oz. bowl twice in this fashion without getting a lean, much less a tip-over. I'm happy about that.For a family household you might want to get extra 20 or 28 oz. bowls for when more than one person at a time wants soup, cereal, ice cream, etc. but for a one or two person household, especially for someone who is just starting to set up housekeeping, this might be the only set of bowls they need for every day and they can save the nice dishes someone gave them as a housewarming gift for entertaining.
