These are adorable little containers! I love anything matryoshka! They do not seal well and therefore do not stay on very well when tipped. Anything wet or liquid will leak. So, to solve this problem just don't put anything liquid or wet in them. lol! The first day I used them I took yogurt and grapes in them and they tipped in my lunch bag making a soupy mess. My husband thinks I am crazy but I still love and use them. I make sure grapes etc are dry and don't put things like yogurt in them. Although, if you were just using them at home and didn't have to worry about them tipping they would be fine. They were a huge hit at work! I guess it depends on whether you want something cute or something practical. Cute always wins over here! :-)

I just received these today, and while they're super cute & unique, I noticed the lids don't seal real tight. Maybe I'm comparing them too much to the grocery store Rubbermaid or throw-away type products, which these don't claim to be, but I'm curious to see just how well they'll work. To their credit; the plastic has that pliable thick feel you equate with quality.I don't think I'll be putting spill-able or leak-able items in them, and they probably won't work well in a picnic basket or anything else where they might get jostled or turned upside down, but I'm guessing they'll do nicely for patio dining presentation; fridge storage; or filled with dry snacks, and carefully placed or handled on an outing. Though they're shown with food, (which was what prompted me to purchase them) they'd probably make great containers for small miscellaneous items, or your child's treasures.Summary: Super cute and feels like quality plastic was used, but may not be as functional as I'd hoped.
