Well, as an older woman, I guess I'm just not good at picking out stuff anymore. All I really needed was one bowl to replace the broken one from my "antique" set of Pyrex. Those bowls are still available on line but pretty expensive for one bowl...because they're "antique," I guess. Anyway, I thought I'd try something new. I liked the idea of the good grip handles and bottom. Mixing bowels do slide around on the tile counter when you're trying to stir, especially something thick, like cookie dough. So, the bowls arrived...boy, they are big...and deep! They're OK, I just have to get used to which bowl is right for the different things I mix...set in my ways, you know. Well, here's the "not so good" part. Because of the non-slip bottom, I can't SLIDE them into the cupboard...I have to LIFT them. They go on the second shelf and it's awkward to place them exactly where they have to go, not being able to slide them around a little to fit so the door shuts. It seems like a small thing, but it's annoying. I wish I had just "bit the bullet" and paid too much for the one bowl to replace my favorite, the right size for everything, bowl...sigh.

These are real nice but not what I was expecting. I didnt know they would be plastic or be as large as they are. Not realy a problem though. Since where I live the water is so hard I cant put anything plastic in the dishwasher,I have to wash these by hand. If not for that I would have givin them 5 stars. They are real good and I use them all the time.
