These bowls are great! They stack neatly, and are very durable yet lightweight! They are both ovenproof and microwaveable.My only comment is that the five smaller bowls are maybe too much, too little. They make great mise en place setups, but really are too small for most other purposes.I'd have liked the largest bowl to be the 11 1/2 and I could have given up a couple of the smaller bowls.Of course, these comments are about personal preference.

Luminarc 9-Piece Stackable Glass Mixing Bowls was a gift for my kitchen years ago, they're still looking Great! I use them to prepare my meals and gather the ingredients to make lunch or dinner. They are always around and I use every single Bowl... True, The two Big ones I use the most, however, even the little one helps evey now and thenI realy like this Set, I use them every day, sometimes in the morning I eat Cereal from my Glass Bowl and so far I haven't broken any yet, I don't heat any food in them, I wash them by hand and maybe that's the reason for their Long Life.
